FREE workshop for Dubai Drama Group Members
Have you ever struggled to find a physicality for a character outside of your own? What are some of the more creative ways to approach building character through a physical lens? In this workshop we’ll utilise work from a range of physical practitioners including Laban and Lecoq, to explore character through animals, elements, and more. A great workshop for those who are just starting to polish their acting skills, and a nice reminder and a chance to play for the more seasoned performers amongst us.
This workshop will include physical movement, so plain/loose clothing that allows for free movement should be worn. We recommend you to work in barefeet where possible, or thin-soled plimsolls/pumps otherwise. Bring something warm to wear in case you need it, and fluids/a light snack. Other than that, only your energy and creativity are requested
